Abstract

Beyond doomscrolling and Tiktok micro-trends, what does social media have to offer us? For scientists and physicians, it represents a powerful, but currently underutilized, tool for science communication and public outreach. This article explores how researchers can leverage social media to communicate scientific findings, teach critical thinking about research, and share their personal stories to rebuild public trust in science.
