Abstract

Organ transplantation saves lives, with over 100,000 people on the national transplant waiting list. Recent media coverage highlighting rare protocol violations has shaken public confidence in the donation system. This article examines the extensive safeguards and protections in place, emphasizes the critical importance of organ donation, and argues that transparency, education, and accountability are essential to restoring and maintaining public trust in this life-saving system.
